Lindsay Irvin
M.D.

Dr. Lindsay Irvin is a board-certified pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics who has practiced in San Antonio since 1997.        She is an alumna of Saint Mary’s Hall and Williams College, where she graduated with a BA in English and Classical Languages. She attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston where she received the Truman G. Blocker prize for Humanism in Medicine.  She completed her Pediatric residency at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio. She is married to Dr. Lennie Irvin, assistant professor of English at San Antonio College. They have two children.        Dr. Irvin is active in the San Antonio Pediatric Society as an advocate for childhood immunizations and preventive care. She believes that being a parent, being responsible for another human life is one the greatest honors and challenges available to us in our lifetime. The task of a pediatrician is to help parents do the job of parenting with compassion and an evidence-based and scientifically supported understanding of children’s health and development. Dr. Irvin speaks English and Spanish.

Carmen Garza
M.D.

Dr. Carmen Garza is a member of the Texas Medical Association, Bexar County Medical Society, American Academy of Pediatrics, and Mexican American Physician's Association. Dr. Garza completed her medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Science Center School Of Medicine. Dr. Garza completed her residency at University Hospital South Texas Medical Center. Dr. Garza speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese. She has been with AHP since 2017!

Lorin Morales
MSN, RN, CPNP-PC

Lorin was born and raised in Cleveland, OH, and relocated to San Antonio, Texas in 2011, when she joined the United States Air Force. She and her family fell in love with San Antonio and decided to make Texas their home. Lorin spent the first eleven years of her nursing career as a neonatal nurse before deciding to further her education. She graduated from Ohio University with a Master’s in Nursing Education and then went on to get a second Master’s degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She served in the USAF as a Medical Officer from 2011 to 2015 and currently remains in the Ready Reserves. She enjoys crafting, cooking, reading, and spending time with her beautiful children. Oh, and we must not forget…..She is a Disney Fanatic!

Brooke Mendiola

Brooke is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner whose been in primary care since 2020. She was a bedside nurse for newborns through adulthood, born with heart defects in the cardiac PICU for over 6 years. Brooke grew up in a small town outside of San Antonio and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi. After working in the hospital for a few years, she went on to continue her education at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center where she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing. In her free time, she loves spending it with family and friends but mostly with her baby boy. She and her family like to travel, eat good food, and be outdoors. She also loves being the taste tester for her husband’s BBQ food truck. Now being a mom, she completely understands the worry and fear a parent has when something concerning happens to their child. As the child’s provider, it is her absolute honor to help ease that concern and provide the most compassionate and top quality of care as if the patient were her own.
